Our Motivation
Kinsmen Consulting exists as a business for the purpose of honoring God by modeling His creative and sustaining work on the earth, and supporting service to our community both locally and globally.

We seek to accomplish this goal by coming alongside organizations to partner with their leaders in providing active oversight of facility and organization improvement projects to ensure all goals and objectives are met and all aspects of the project are executed with excellence, integrity, and honesty.

As we interact with our customers and partners in these projects we hold ourselves as leaders accountable to God's standard of character as expressed in the Bible. We are committed to integrity and honesty in our professional and personal relationships.

The name Kinsmen has its roots in the Old Testament book of Nehemiah. This book tells the story of a man named Nehemiah and his leadership in rebuilding the city of Jerusalem beginning in about 445 BC. Nehemiah came alongside his kinsmen to rebuild their city using the resources and skills God had blessed him with. In the same way, it is our goal to come alongside organizations by offering the skills and resources God has provide us to see their organizational dreams come to fruition and furthermore to see the projects performed with a God-honoring emphasis on honesty, integrity, and excellence.

Our Company Name
Mark Andersen earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master's in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Mark's career has taken him through roles in technical engineering, sales and estimating, project management, and overall business management. In addition to operating Kinsmen Consulting, Mark serves as Senior Vice President at Corporate Woodworking, Inc located in Fairfield, NJ. Mark also serves on the board of directors for Camp Spofford, and the board of trustees at Sparta Evangelical Free Church.

Mark is married to Theresa and they have three daughters: Kate, Melanie and Haley. They love being outside together hiking, biking, swimming and enjoying God's creation.
